HSM Reunion?! Sadly, Not True
That's what everyone thought when a trailer was dropped for what seemed to be a High School Musical Reunion Trailer. The now known, can-made video, used creative cuts to make it seem as if the main cast from the original movie were contemplating coming together again. The short has appearances from Ashley Tisdale, Zac Efron, Monique Coleman, Lucas Gabriel, Corbin Bleu, and of course Vanessa Hudgens.
At first glance, it seems like the trailer is very authentic with numerous scenes cut together from moments of the cast. As someone who has followed each member of the cast past the glorious HSM days, I would soon realize the scenes are all from different projects. For example, Lucas Gabriel's part in the trailer is a scene from the final season of the hit Freeform show Switched At Birth.
While we now must cry at our dreams being crushed, hopefully if we keep talking about it the cast will come together and somehow make it happen in the future.
