The doll that never dies is, of course, back again! A promo was recently released for the brand new Chucky movie, Cult of Chucky. This will be the seventh film in the horror and slasher series. The crazed doll originated in the film Child's Play, released all the way in 1988. The new film, set to be released October 3rd, 2017 caught social media attention due to the notable difference in the famous doll. He seems to have received a bit of a face lift with a softer and more child-like face.
In the new trailer Chucky is back for vengeance against past owners of his who he never successfully killed. Those past owners are the only ones alive to tell the tale of Chucky but to no avail are not believed and placed in a psychiatric hold. The doctor tries to cure them of their suspicious and paranoid nature by bringing in the demented doll. That's when everything unravels and the killing happens left and right.
I'm hoping the film bringing something new to the table. Being, that this is the seventh appearance of Chucky, the movies can become rather predictable.
