Oh Snap, Raven's back!

Raven Symone will officially be back on TV and with her Disney Channel family. The actress who became famous for starring in her show That's So Raven now has the green-light from Disney for the spin-off.
That's So Raven was a pinnacle of success for the Disney Channel network. The show debuted from early 2003 till it's season 4 close in late 2007. Symone saw a lot of growth in her career from that show and it boosted her to movies like The Cheetah Girls franchise with early That's So Raven co-star Adrienne Bailon.

While four years can be perceived as a long time it seemed that the show was off the air and gone too soon. The original spin-off for the show starred Raven's TV little brother Cory Baxter and his
move to the White Houses. That show, Cory in The House, didn't receive the same reception from fans as was hoped and its only highly rated episodes were those that guest-starred Raven reprising her role.
In October 2016, on her final show of The View Raven announced that she was in discussion with executives and producers to create the spin-off. As of April 6th 2017 Disney not only finalized the cast but they also ordered the entire first season for the new show. All that has been released about the show so far is that it's called Raven's Home (subject to change) and will star Raven Symone and Anneliese van der Pol reprising their roles as Raven Baxter and Chelsea Daniels respectively. It was also recently announced that their kids on the show will be played by Issac Brown of black-ish and Navia Robinson from Being Mary Jane will star as Raven's 11-year-old twins Booker and Nia. Jason Maybaum(Superstore) will play Chelsea's 9-year-old son Levi. Sky Katz (America's Got Talent) will play Nia's best friend Tess.

Production is scheduled to begin this month in Los Angeles for a scheduled premiere later this year.
